Vacation Home Orlando - Information

Directions from Orlando International to Vacation Home Orlando
Exit airport following signs to South Exit - Kissimmee and Disney World (Hwy. 417- the Greenway). You will reach the Greenway (417) in approximately 3 miles. Turn right onto the Greenway and head West towards Disney World. You will go through two $1 tolls. Continue until you reach the exit for Celebration (Exit 2). There will be another toll. Turn right and you will reach Hwy 192. At Hwy 192 (Irlo Bronson Hwy.) turn left and proceed on Hwy 192. After approx. 10 miles you will approach signs for Hwy. 27. Stay in left-hand lane and exit and exit onto Hwy. 27 South towards Haines City. Travel on Hwy. 27 South for approx. 3 miles.The entry to Highlands Reserve will be on your right hand side just after the Publix Supermarket.

Directions from Sanford Follow main road out of airport (Lake Mary Boulevard). After about 2 miles you will see a flyover. You need to get into left lane to get onto this road. Go under the flyover and turn left up the slip road onto the highway 417 (south). At the traffic lights on the slip road go straight ahead. Stay on the 417 south, until it joins the Interstate 4 (I 4) west. Stay on the I 4 west until exit 55, (sign posted Haines City/ Clermont). Stay in the left lane. Turn left at traffic lights onto the Highway 27 (North). Hampton Lakes is about 5 miles down the road on the right. It is immediately after Palm Key Estate. Road names hanging above roads refer to the road going across the road you are on. If you are turning right at traffic lights, you can filter round so long as no traffic is coming (unless there is a specific traffic light for turning right).

Hampton Lakes - Enter estate and take the third exit from roundabout. Go to the end of the road and turn right, then take the second left down Kellygreen Avenue (you will go past the end of Lockbreeze Drive). The house is opposite the bottom of the road, slightly to the left.



Supermarkets - Publix- turn right out of the estate, about a mile along the road you will reach some traffic lights. Turn left at lights, you can’t miss it on the right. Walmart- (huge superstore selling food, electrical goods, clothes, household goods etc.) Turn right out of the estate, stay on Highway 27 for about 3 miles. Just past the slip road for the Highway 192 (signposted Disney World) you will see Walmart on the left.

Restaurants – turn right out of the estate. Continue for 3 miles. Turn right onto Highway 192 East. There are a good selection of restaurants and shops all along the highway towards Disney World. Alternatively, turn left out of the estate and there is a small selection of restaurants at the junction with the I4.

Shopping Malls - Premium outlets- turn left out of the estate. Go along the Highway 27, till you reach the I 4. Turn left onto I 4 east. Take exit 68 , signposted Lake Buena Vista. Go straight ahead at traffic lights into Little Lake Brian, follow road past Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine. The entrance to Premium Outlets is on the right. Beltz- turn left out of the estate, turn left onto I 4 east. After about 30 mins take exit 75A signposted Universal Studios. Keep right following signs for International Drive. At the traffic lights on International Drive turn left, carry on till the end of International Drive and you will come to Beltz. There are 4 shopping areas (annex’s). Pick up a map from information kiosks.

Theme parks & things to do - Disney World- turn right out of the estate, about 3 miles along the road, turn right onto Highway 192. Stay on 192, Disney is about 10mins along the road on the right, you can’t miss it! Follow signposts for individual parks. To get back to Hampton Lakes. Follow signs for 192 west, turn left onto highway 27 south.

Kennedy Space Centre - turn left out of estate, turn left onto I 4 east. Take Highway 417 north, signposted International Airport, Sanford, Kennedy Space Centre. Follow signposts.

Downtown Disney - (shops, restraints around a lake, nice for walking) - follow directions for Disney World. Once inside Disney follow signposts for Downtown Disney.

Boardwalk - ( circular walk around a lake, nice for seeing how the other half live) - follow directions for Disney World, then sign posts for Boardwalk Hotel (tell the gateman you are going for something to eat in the cafes).

Kissimmee Old Town - turn right out of estate, turn right onto 192 east. Go past entrance to Disney World and continue on until you get to Kissimmee (about 2 miles). You will see the sign on the right for Kissimmee Old Town – Friday and Sat night has Flea Market and parade of vintage cars.

Gaylord Palms Hotel - (piano bar) turn left out of estate, turn left onto I 4 east. Exit 64, follow signs.
